Hoopsfix Pro-Am

The Hoopsfix Foundation debuted the first ever Hoopsfix Pro-Am in the summer of 2022, at City of London Academy, Southwark, before returning in 2023 to Brixton Recreation Centre, Lambeth.

The five week summer league brings together the best of British basketball, both seasoned pros and top prospects; targeting elite level players, some of whom are rarely seen in organised competition in the UK.

The event, which is free for spectators, is NCAA certified to allow Division 1 student-athletes to play and features 8 men’s teams, and 4 women’s teams, taking place from 10am until 6pm each week.

All games are live streamed, with photography and highlights to profile the athletes, with a physio on site throughout the day to ensure player’s welfare was prioritised.

It is staffed by a team of young volunteers who get real life work experience and a vocational education in basketball operations that is hard to come by in the UK.
